Realization
I have been thinking about taking some classes this spring and summer to keep my certificate on track. I need 150 clock hours by June 2012. I still have some time to do this, but need to keep ahead of the game. Then I realized that I would not only have to pay for the classes, the clock hours but also for someone to watch my children while I am at the classes. Looking around, I also realized that while I am attending those classes there will be no one here to make dinner, do dishes, vacuum, grocery shop or do the laundry. I did think about skipping the classes, but then all those years of school and teaching would be washed away. What to do? Maybe flying my mother-in-law or sister-in-law up during my classes would be cheaper then a babysitter and house keeper.

Can you do online courses or correspondence courses?
ReplyDeleteI think you should take classes for sure. Would hate for you to lose your certification...and I know with my insurance license I get so mad at myself when I wait till the last minute to get those classes done! :) You go girl! You'll find a way to make it work.
I remember doing those mommy and me classes at the Tech College and some of the girls somehow got clock hours for helping out with some lessons. That might be worth a shot! Atleast your kiddies would be with you.
