Well, the ducks are still here. This morning and this afternoon the Drake reminded me that they were here by beating his beak on the window. I think that is a message for, "We want some corn." What free loaders.
My daughter and I were out planting some flowers in the front and she noticed all the duck poop. Man, do they poop. It is in the grass, flower beds, the pond and on the deck.
I still can't find the nest but have a suspicion that it might be under the neighbors front porch.
I had a good time last night with some girlfriends. Dinner and conversation without husbands and children is always a treat or at least until I come home to a sink full of dishes and children still awake. Oh, the life of a housewife.
My husband is gone for two days. I am hoping that our daughter will sleep tonight and not get worked up about him not being here. I will keep my fingers crossed.

My house is always trashed when I come home from an evening out. I need to hire a babysitter to watch the kids & the Hub! Grrrr.
