After this last week, I would not wish single parenting on my worst enemy. With my husband gone all week, I had to do everything and let me tell you not much got done. I did not have time to shave my legs or keep up on the housework. How does a single parent work and be a parent without any help? I had a hard enough time keeping from drinking myself into a coma, let alone housework, yardwork, parenting and working. I do not know how they do it!
Thank God, next week I am in Las Vegas. Granted it is with the children, but my mother-in-law and sister-in-law will be there. I plan on spending a lot of time in or by the pool and a few times kidless, with or without my husband.
I will post a play by play on my return to real life.

ReplyDeleteDrinking yourself into a coma is the only real solution...LOL! Whatever doesn't kill you makes you stronger. I figure I'm strong enough, now it's time to bring on the nanny. Have fun and we will see you soon.

Hi Kim, I feel your pain. Sean has been working MASSIVE overtime. I always feel like a single parent, and with Coralynn it is near impossible to even go check the mail at the end of the road. Enjoy Vegas... have a drink for me as I am still nursing :-(
