The Spins

I must admit that last Saturday evening, early evening that is, I had way too much to drink. I was in prime Erickson mode, I did not pace myself. It has been a long time since I have be drunk, buzzed no but drunk yes. I can not remember that last time I was this drunk. Enough of the details because the rest of them are not pretty nor can I remember them. Anyway, by Monday I was feeling fine and remembering why I do not drink more often, but then Wednesday morning came.

As I got up from bed I was feeling dizzy and nauseous, a cross between the beginning of pregnancy and the start of a buzz. By the way, I was neither! I chocked it up to being low on sugar, but as the day went along I did not feel better. I slept fine and the baby slept through the night. Then along came Thursday and I was worse. I called the doctor and went in for an appointment. The first thing they asked was, "Could you be pregnant?" As some of you know, I would stab myself if I was. I personally was worried that I might have the flu. Well come to find out, I have Vertigo. With a little bite of over the counter travel sickness medicine the nausea goes away but the spinning and the light headed feeling continues. The doctor told me that it has to run it course and to sleep on the plane to LA. How is that possible with two kids? Wish me luck!
