Girls' Night Out

Well it is very rare that I get to go out without children, but Saturday at the last minute a friend invited me to go with her and a couple of her friends to the movie. I was planning on going to this movie by myself but could not get a ticket. She had a few extra because a couple of the girls were sick. I arrived at the movie theater at 5:45 via my parents who dropped me off right in front of the theater. I felt like I was in middle school again. The movie was not until 7:30 so there was a lot of girl talk standing in line. I only new one of the girls but enjoyed each one of the others. We watched the movie and then went and had a drink. Might I say that I had a mango lemonade with no alcohol. I came home at 11:30ish to everyone sleeping.
One of my biggest peeves is to go out and come home to a mess and/or the children still up. That is one of the reasons I do not go out. That night we had dinner with my parents at a restaurant so there was no dinner mess. Terry took the kids over to a friends house so they both were worn out when they got home and went to bed. Overall it was a great night. I had adult conversations, watched a great movie and came home and got straight into bed.

Tip of the day: Have an umbrella in the car at all times

Are you asking what movie I went to? I went to New Moon and would pay $10 to go again. It was worth every penny. As most of you know I am not a movie theater type of person and I really can't tell you the last time I went to a movie. This time it was well worth standing in line for a hour and sitting in those horrible seats for 2 1/2 hours. I would recommended anyone that has read the book to see the movie at least once.
