Today I was overwhelmed in a good way. I went to a memorial for a friend from high school. It was nice to see many familiar faces but unfortunatly it was under tough circumstances. I did not attend my 10 year high school reunion and I do not regret it. But, I did enjoy the little time I had today to catch up on the lives of some old friends. I realized this week thatfor the most part we are all in the same boat when it comes to life, just that some of us are in the back of the boat or upfront or ready to jump out. I think I am ready to see those friends and those that are not so much friends from high school. I think that my 20th reunion might be something that I can get myself to go to and hopefully not give a sh#* what some of the people will think or say about me.
But then again I still have 2 years to change my mind.
Tip of the day: Memories last a lifetime so keep them alive

ReplyDeleteI just was reading your post and hadn't heard about Heather. I went to the Hearld website and read that it was Heather Engels. I am so shocked. I had no idea that she had been ill. So sad to hear the news. I would have enjoyed going today to celebrate her life. Thanks for sharing.
