Mother's Day

Happy Mother's Day to all those mothers out there.
Yesterday, Reece had a little party at school. They had tables set, seating assignments with name tags, food, drinks and a couple songs. I will post the video when I find the cable. They made presents for us moms, watering cans to pot flowers in. The whole thing was very cute and well done. She for once was very excited for me to come to her class and watch her perform.
Last night, I took her to "Popeye the Musical" play. She really enjoyed watching the kids sing and perform. She said on the way home that she would love to do that in front of people. This is an 180 from what she use to say. She never wanted to show off or perform for anyone, now she has seemed to come out of her shell. I might look up some summer theater camps for her if she really is interested. I wonder who she gets her "I want to be in front of people" attitude from? Could it be her mother?


Tip of the Day: Your mother is your only one, celebrate her while she is still around! Those that do not have a mother still her, celebrate her anyway.
