Smooth Sailing

Before school at home

Yesterday was the day! Reece went to her first day of Kindergarten. I was a little nervous about leaving her, not because of me but of her and her freaking out. I am proud to say that it did not happen! After a few tears, from me not her, and a quick kiss, she bounced over to the carpet. And off Terry and I went.

I must say that the day flew by. I did a little house keeping and ran an errand. Fredy and I walked over to the school early to help with packing up and getting all the students out the door for pick up. Wow, was that exhausting! I forgot about the effort. I will be returning to help on Friday with the end of the day.
Reece said that she had a great day and wanted to know why she would not be coming back to school until Friday. I could tell by the smile on her face that she had a good day. She did not eat much of her lunch so she was starving when I picked her up. She ate the whole thing on our walk home.
