Yesterday's accident at the school I use to teach at, really got me thinking about how life can take quick turns. Last night was difficult for me. I was really tired and feel asleep fast but 2 hours later I was up for almost 5 hours. Without getting into too much detail, I was thinking about a friend and his wife who are keeping their chidlren from seeing the grandparents. They have not seen each other for 4 months but live within 15 minutes of each other. I do not know the whole story but I know that the grandparents did not hurt the grandkids in anyway. The son and daughter-in-law have, what seem to be minor issues with the parents. Anyhow, I do not understand or comprehend why they are keeping the children away! The saying here today, but gone tomorrow, can be true for anyone. I find myself, sensitive as I am, crying over the loss of the little girl Anna who was killed yesterday and realizing that her grandparents might not have the priviledge of seeing her either. I can only think of a few reasons, and they are manjor, why anyone should keep grandparents from seeing their grandchildren.
I hope and pray to God that my "so-called " friends read this and feel as terrible as I do about what they are doing to their kids!!!!!!!
