ReplyDeleteWhen I was in college my school won a prize for having the most volunteers for a beach clean up day and the prize was a free concert by none other than "Train". I had been one of the organizers for the volunteer day and so was able to be one of the helpers tending to the band while they were getting ready for the concert (brought them lunch, water, and watched them warm up) Funny thing is that was probably in spring 1998 and at that point I had not heard of them and I was from the Bay Area - but they just weren't getting much play on the radio yet. It was the summer after that concert that I started hearing them ALL the time. Anyway, all the guys were super nice and i love it when my 5 yr old rocks out to Hey, Soul Sister. ps kim your kids are super cute.
