If you know me, you know that I have a very soft place in my heart for those that have disabilities. Today, I spent the afternoon at a 30th Birthday party for one of my friend's daughter, who has DS. The church was full of people with various disabilities. Let me tell you, this was the most fun birthday party I have ever been to. It was a Disney theme. A lot of people dressed up or wore Disney shirts or Mickey Mouse ears. They sang Karaoke to Disney movie songs and danced. There were millions of smiles, tons of laughs and a billion hugs. Talk about humbling!

- I am the mother of the most amazing 7 and 10 year olds on the planet.I am also the wife of a very hardworking and smart guy. I have a wonderful circle of friends that I have had for many, many years. I have my opinions and I am not afraid to share them. I have a very strong personality and I am not shy to show it. I enjoy reading, coaching basketball, working in the yard and taking classes to keep up my teaching certificate. What I crave is the sunshine. We have recently moved to Alaska to try a new adventure.
