South Korea

Time is confusing, but I will try to explain. I am 16 hours ahead of PST, so 7:00 pm PST is 11:00 am Korea time the next day. Arrived in the pouring rain and took a taxi from the airport to the Pullman hotel in Changwon. I thought for sure we were going to die 3X in the taxi. Crazy drivers! Got to our room about 11:00 pm Korea time on May 1st, unpacked and went to bed after traveling for 19 hours of travel. May 2nd- woke up early 4:45 Korea time. I had breakfast with Terry, walked next door to a large shopping center to look for an ATM and Starbucks. Which we found but they do not open until 10am. Met one of Terry's coworkers and then Terry left for work. On my own I walked a trail behind our hotel. Ended up at a lovely park that had workout machines and no one around, bonus! Then I headed to Starbucks with a tourist map to plan what and where I want to explore. 11:00 appointment on Skype with my children. Didn't happen, something wrong with recording device on home computer. When Terry returned for lunch we talked to them on the phone, my phone does not get coverage here. Terry and I had Vietnamese noodle soup for lunch and he headed back to work. The rest of the day I explored the hotel and the shopping center. I bought nothing! Terry returned at 6:30 and we had a lite dinner and went to bed early.
