When my daughter was born I thought for sure I would not have to worry about crushes until she was 9 maybe 10 years old. Through the years she has made many friends, most of them boys, and has not had any crushes on them until.....................
Billy Bretherton entered her life.
We are not big TV watchers when it comes to regular programs. We watch a few shows here and there but mostly sports. If you look through the window on Tuesday nights you can see my daughter watching A&E. Billy the Exterminator with Vexcon down in Louisiana, is her crush. She knows that Tuesdays are not school days, so on the days that she does not have school she wakes up and asks if it is a Billy day. Her love for animals is what got her started on watching the show and now it is just her love for Billy.
I am afraid of what will happen the day she brings home a guy that looks like him to meet her dad. If you have not seen the show or Billy, take a peek! I do believe that if she brought home a guy that looked like Billy and made just as much money as he does, Terry would welcome him into our home and call him son.

The last episode of Billy was about trapping some rats in someone's house. This is what I saw on my daughter's window sill this morning.
These are rubber rats we have from Halloween trapped in hair clips (a.ka. rat traps).
Needless to say, I ordered her a Vexcon zip-up hooded sweatshirt with a picture of Billy on the back for Christmas. I think it will be a big hit.
Tip of the day: Love, honor and remember those who have fought, died and are still fighting for our freedom.
