Gone Again

Daddy is gone again this week. Mother's Day weekend is taking forever to get here.

The children enjoyed the sun today. We spent some time at the park having a picnic and playing on the playground. Later in the day my son played with the neighbor boys. They help him play basketball and drove him around the loop in the jogger stroller. My daughter went to Art Academy with the neighbor boy in the afternoon.

Tonight we all had to wash our feet before heading to bed. This is always a good sign that the weather is turning the corner.

Now we are headed off to start a new chapter book, Junie B. Junes Is Not a Crook. We will see what lessons we can learn from Junies' bad behavior.
