Cabin Fever
No one in my family has the swine flu but we are staying inside the house alot lately. The mix of the rain and the "scare" of the swine flu makes it easy to stay home. Right now, my children are sitting at the bottom of the steps, still in their pajamas, playing with the Legos and the train set. I, myself and not too happy about staying home. I like to do things but a few friends are sick and there is really no where to go that is clean and safe. I have signed my children up for their first round of the H1N1 vaccine but that is not until next Wednesday so I am trying to keep them away from a ton of germs. My daughter went to preschool yesterday and I over heard an adult say that his son had been coughing, yet he still brought him to school. When his mom picked him up, the teacher said he coughed alot. YIKES! I heard the mom said maybe we will see you on Friday. Maybe....stay home and get better and stop spreading your germs!

I agree. We are laying low ourselves. We went to get all the vaccinations today and our first appt. was cancelled because the vaccines didn't show up (HIN1) and then Madrona cancelled our next appt. on Saturday for the same reason.
ReplyDeleteKeep sick kids home!!!! p.s. Love your Halloween blog decoration.
