Neighbors

With the sun out and the air warmer, we have found ourselves outside often. In our neighborhood we have many young kids. The past two afternoons we have found ourselves with 7 other children and 6 other mothers in the traffic loop. The kids play well together riding bikes, launching rockets and of course shooting hoops. I have suggested having drinks to the mothers but so far no takers. I bet when the weather is warmer and the days are longer some of them will take my offer.
At bedtime the other night Reece said, "Mom, that street party we had today was so much fun. When are we going to have another?"
I did not want to tell her that it was not a party but just playing. Oh she will figure it out someday.

Tuesday I signed Reece up for Kindergarten at Silver Beach. Still not 100% sure that I am going to send her there. It all depends on who is teaching her class. I hope there is more than one half time Kindergarten so her chances of getting the teacher we don't want less likely. I wish the school would let us know who is teaching the class so we can make a decision now and work on other schools if we have to.
