We headed to California on Wednesday, June 2nd. There is nothing like a straight flight out of Bellingham to LAX. I am not too fond of the airline but with two kids and carseats, you can't beat it. Thursday the 3rd was spent at California Adventures with Aunt Bonnie and cousin Bailey. We had not experienced the whole park before, we enjoyed it. There was not much time wasted standing in lines except the new 4D Toystory ride. I think we waited 30 to 40 minutes and it was worth every minute we waited, totally awesome ride. That evening we all ate at Bubba Gumps, yum! Friday we spent the whole day at Disneyland. We went on most of the rides but had some lines that day. Fredy was happy because when we first walked into the park Mickey Mouse was just coming out for pictures. That made his day! Reece enjoyed herself and her time with her cousin Bailey.
Friday evening we headed up to Bakersfield to see the rest of the family. The weather was warm but not too hot. Most of the time was spent in the pool or sitting on the patio drinking. Can't complain about that. We did spend some time with Terry's extended family. It is always nice to see them. We arrived back in Bellingham last night and first thing this morning Terry jumped on a plane to South Korea for a week.
I will need another vacation this summer!
