My new neighbors and now friends from Chicago asked me the other day what are the top 5 things or places I would do or go to around here to show new comers or visitors. I had the hardest time keeping that number, but here is my response.
1. Ferry ride to Friday Harbor
2. Mt. Baker
3. Stanley Park
4. The Plover in Blaine
5. Larabee State Park with Chuckanut Drive
Seriously, what an awesome place I live. It does not get much better than this especially on days like we have been having. I LOVE IT!
Tip of the day: See as much as you can see when it is possible.

- I am the mother of the most amazing 7 and 10 year olds on the planet.I am also the wife of a very hardworking and smart guy. I have a wonderful circle of friends that I have had for many, many years. I have my opinions and I am not afraid to share them. I have a very strong personality and I am not shy to show it. I enjoy reading, coaching basketball, working in the yard and taking classes to keep up my teaching certificate. What I crave is the sunshine. We have recently moved to Alaska to try a new adventure.
