Jeju Island

Lovely is one word that I can explain the beauty of this island! It has the feel of Hawaii, but I must say it is much nicer. This island is very clean, not crowded nor did I see any homeless or drug users. That does not mean there are none, but they might keep them hid. We stayed on the south west side of the island in the resort area. We had a great room that faced the ocean. There was a huge sandy beach just a quick walk away. Most of the shoreline is cliffs and rocks but there were a few large sandy coves. We were only on the island for 35 hours so we did not have a lot of time. We did get some exploring in to a large waterfall that fell straight into the ocean, a submarine dive to see fish and colorful coral. We walked around a small natural reserve island and enjoyed a great lunch at a local restaurant. Dinner was at a Korean BarBQ restaurant where we ate black bellied pig, Yum! I can see why locals come here for a vacation! The weather was nice but it is not the busy season, which I was glad. I can see it being really crowded during the summer season. We flew back to the mainland and styled in a hotel on the beach in Busan. Amazing again! The weather was nice but it was very crowded!
